FAQ.

Renters must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid UK or European driving license, drivers under 25 years old are subject to an additional fee. The rates are available only when pre booked. All rentals include unlimited mileage.

Sorry holders of US or Canadian driving licenses cannot under our current agency sales agreement book cars or vans.

The Credit Card Holder must be present at time of car collection.

The difference between the Standard Inclusive and Gold Inclusive packages, is that with Gold you are given a free full tank of fuel and all additional drivers over 25yrs with an accepted license are covered at no additional cost.

Both of the above packages legally cover you for driving the car hired. As with all travel, adequate personal holiday insurance is advised to cover all personal items stolen or medical bills incurred whilst on your trip.

AVAILABILITY OF CARS:
Cars can be reserved only by car category and not by specific model. If for any reason the car reserved is unavailable, our chosen supplier will provide a similar or larger car at no extra cost.

UPGRADING THE CAR:
It is important to reserve the right car for your party, however, upgrading to a larger car can be done at the time of rental, subject to availability. The cost of the upgrade will be shown separately on the rental agreement.

ADDITIONAL DRIVERS:
Additional drivers must meet all rental requirements and pay the appropriate fee where applicable.

INFANT SEATS:
By law, children under 6 years of age must be properly secured in a child passenger restraint.
There is no need to pre book child seats. Child seats cost $5 per day, paid direct to the supplier.

PETROL:
The vehicle will be issued with a full tank of petrol and a charge made upon commencement of rental (except Gold Package), based on the average full service pump price for midgrade petrol, as stated by the American Automobile Association. The client should return the vehicle empty, as there will be no refunds for unused petrol.

Reserve the right to select another master Hire Company at its discretion with or without notice.

ONE WAY RENTALS:
There are no charges for one way rentals within participating locations in the States of Florida and California. All other one way rentals are subject to a drop charge and must be requested in advance.

DRIVING AREAS:
Cars may be driven into any State. Some cars may be driven into Canada, but must be returned to the rental location in the USA.

DEPOSIT:
Clients who do not posses a major credit card, may be asked to leave a cash deposit.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
If any taxes, fees or restrictions are subsequently imposed, they will be added to the rental or collected from the customer at time of rental.
Renters in New York remain liable for the first $100.00 of damage.
Renters in Alaska remain liable for the first $500.00 of damage

Vehicle availability may be restricted and vehicle specification may be subject to change without notice

CANCELLATIONS AND ADMINISTRATION CHARGES
You have a limited right to cancel this contract in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. Any notice of Cancellation served under these regulations must be given within the time limited specified in the regulations Minimum 28 days prior to check-in and before the commencement of rental. Please note Cancellation notice must be given in writing 28 Days prior to check-in.
• Yescarhire.com / West & Associates levy a charge for cancellation of any booking you are unable to honour prior to your collection date (see below).
•No refunds will be given for rentals ended early, late collections, no shows or cancellations made after the rental start date.
•All cancellations must be made in writing, emailed to sales@yescarhire.com or faxed to 01276 453288 (and vouchers returned) and will take effect from the date received.
Cancellation Charges :
7 or more days before start date 50% of charge.
6-3 days before start date 75% of charge.
2-0 days before start date 100% of charge.
It is the customers responsibility to ensure that they have adequate cancellation cover include in their travel insurance.

NATURE OF CONTRACT
You will be given a Voucher Number on receipt of payment, on arrival at the location you will exchange the Voucher and sign a binding contract between you and the applicable car hire company supplying the vehicle. YesCarHire.com and or West & Associates act as a sales agent only for the chosen Hire Company. By signing the rental agreement at check-in, you will be bound by its terms and conditions, READ IT CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING AND KEEP YOUR COPY. This contract is only available in English.
